Campus Services has six outdoor sign holders available for your event signage.
1. Submit a helpdesk ticket to the service type "Event/set up" to request event signs to be placed for your event. Be sure to include the start and end time of your event - as well as the time you would like signs to be in place advertising your event. Also include the number of holders (up to 6) requested and the locations you would like them placed. Two of the signs say COCC, the remaining 4 say EVENT.
2. Please remember to include what time you want them up, and what time they can come down. Signs will NOT be left out overnight.
3. Create your 11" x 17" signs to insert in the plexi holders (holders are double sided) and drop off at Campus Services *THE DAY BEFORE YOUR EVENT*. Sign holders have arrows in place already so there is no need to add an arrow to your printed insert. Please do not send us electronic files - we currently have no way of printing signs in this office.
Please see "Sign Making Tips" below for guidelines. Please be sure to use only 11" x 17" signs. DO NOT place any 8" x 11" signs in the holders - they are very hard to get out.
4. Once holders are put out you can put your signs in the holders. When Campus Services retrieves the sign holders at the end of your event we will remove the signs and dispose of them for you.
SIGN MAKING TIPS:
For best results in visibility...
• Use Black ink on White or Bright Yellow paper.
• Print on 11" x 17" paper.
• Use a VERY simple fonts, no script or funky fonts.
• Use the largest font available.
• Do not hand write signs.

Signs NOT dropped off the day before are not guaranteed to be placed.
Sign holders cannot be left outdoors overnight - please do not request that.
The COCC Copy Center has the capability to print out 11"x17" pages upon request.
